This is one of our favorite restaurants in all of Iredell county. Small, unassuming and like stepping back in time. Bbq sandwiches are great, the sauce is unique and the sides are tasty. I have been coming here since before I could walk and I hope to keep coming back for years to come!

On a trip to NC for a wedding, stopped in on a whim 30 mins before closing. Staff and patrons were friendly and down-to-earth. Food was excellent! Old school charm and great folks. Will return.

Walking in, you can feel the friendliness of the place. It is a small, very clean "hole-in-the-wall" type place. They serve both Carolina (vinegar based) and Lexington (vinegar with tomato). I'm not a fan of vinegar based sauces, but my husband liked it. The part of the bbq without sauce was delicious, and I wish I had gotten it without sauce. I got the plate that included coleslaw, baked beans, and yummy hush puppies. My husband enjoyed his salad that was topped with lots of chopped bbq The staff wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meal. They were engaging, among where we were coming from and where we were headed... wishing us safe travels. We would definitely come back. Do note : they are a cash only establishment, so go prepared to pay cash.
